Broadcast Safe - V22 vs V17
Here's a screen shot of a clip rendered in MXF format in V22 with the "Broadcast Color" filter applied to the master bus in order to bring the levels to broadcast safe. That clip was rendered in V22 and it looks fine on the scopes before rendering.

RE: FX's are ruining the video, causing glitches or fx disable themselves
... Vegas works fine unless I add some certain FX like "Colorize,Skin Touch Up,Active Camera and etc." The three FX named are very likely NewBlue FX as NB TotalFX7 has included three FX with those exact names. it would be good if the OP would

RE: Revisiting Levels + Curves 32 Bug (Please Help Replicate/Test)
okay, I can replicate this with SD AVI video using levels + color corrector + levels fx, on a brand new machine, with a completely different graphics card, current build VP22. So this is deep in the architecture of the fx chain code. At this point,

@Dhanys-Lopez Someone said it's fixed in the new Beta of Vegas Pro. In the mean time I just use a color correction effect in the mean time which works for me. @Howard-Vigorita Thanks for the info., Yea, didn't download software update in longest

RE: Do you edit on a 4k or HD monitor?
I've been editing 4K video using a Dell color-calibrated 32" 4K monitor for nearly 5 years and much prefer it to the earlier days of editing 4K on an HD monitor. First of all, I'm color grading, adding FX, etc while viewing the video in original 4K

Serious RAM error in new version 22 bug 239
My computer crashed due to a completely negative RAM usage of 100% in Vegas, causing a complete shutdown and system freeze, for a project that consisted of just two clips and only a color correction. When will they be able to provide a stable

RE: Question: 8 vs 10-bit HEVC Renders?
Here's something interesting: Claude says yes, it can make sense to render 8-bit projects with 10-bits-per-pixel (instead of 8) when encoding to HEVC because HEVC compression algorithms are optimized for 10-bit color depth, and so tend to give

RE: [Closed] ACES/32-full & sLOG3
With ACES you are defining the input and then working in a wide gamut space with a SDR or HDR preview so you can see what you are doing, no? It works with media in any supported color spaces and transforms them into one unified space like ACEScc for

RE: AVI (UT Video) files and limited-full range - problem
My question was more if it's possible to do any color manipulation in VEGAS only affecting luminance so as to output compliant XvYCC. I suppose if you make no changes it's just a passthrough.Did UT YUV files ever work as you expect in VEGAS? (Have

Actually Alan's file is 10-bit 422 AVC and looks like it was modified and isn't directly from a camera.I loaded that file into 22.250 with my RTX 4060 mobile and it doesn't preview and slows VEGAS to a crawl. GeneralComplete name :

RE: Audio is bugged and idk how to fix it.
Can I see the rest? MediaInfo can be used to show the detailed properties of your source media, which is a great help in troubleshooting many VEGAS issues. Open your file with it, and switch it to text view ("View" > "Text"): Highlight all the

By performance, I didn't meant only rendering speed but also the smoother editing and preview performance on the timeline of attached fx, like stabilization, color corrections or optical flow (for slomos or framerate conversions). Smoother

what about the noise at the bottom of the image, when the original is from video tape? @Colin-Anderton As Dexcon said you can crop it out. But cropping can reduce image quality, albeit slightly, so what I'd do is cover it up. On your timeline top

For the hang you can type in "reliability" in the Windows search bar and see what the reliability history says for the crash. You can also make VEGAS do crash reports when it hangs by holding shift, going to the options menu and clicking internal at
