  What is happening with me, and I added a screenshot, is that there is a video driver timeout error. It happens as soon as I drag the clip to the timeline. This is an AMD issue. Now, if you disable the GPU, it will drop on the timeline and play.

  I'm having the same issue with vegas pro 22 freezing and not responding. I've just bought a new powerful PC and installed programs fresh including V22 (I came from V15 and happily used CapCut for the past year). Since JK isn't following up on this
