RE: [Solved] Motion Tracker for a beginner
@BlackOps Hi, I don't think the tracking in Vegas has changed a lot for a while so the links in Tutorials at the head of this page should still be relevant in VP23..

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
Yes I know and I explained that there are several factors which have influence on the result. When you can see ghosting images when using blending resampling for motion blur then motion was too fast.

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
Wondering: when you render that part - how's the result for that roof? - is it flickering, meaning part of the tiles able to be motion blurred in one frame, but on the other frame, not motion blurred - not consistent?

RE: Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
@DMT3 parent motion is the feature to apply a motion, or in this case zooming, equally to all child tracks.

All - I tried Picture-in-Picture at first. In one example I found that it affected my video in the background, in that when the image was showing (scaled image in Picture-in-picture) that the video was not playing. When the length of the image in

[Solved] Motion Tracker for a beginner
Hi everyone! I used Movavi 23, but it lacked features. So today I bought Vegas Pro 23. Actually I only need one feature at the moment. Let's say I want to colorize a small detail on the screen. I don't need censoring or blurring, but rather a

RE: Vegas Pro 23 - Visual Preset Chain Major Problem
@Jimmyhogs if you're using the DirectX version of NewBlue plugins, I'd strongly recommend that you switch to the OpenFX version. The DirectX versions are no longer supported (and Motion Effects is no longer supported as it's been replaced with the

RE: Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
I noticed in the various tutorials covering Tracking Motion, it is used on .mp4 and .mov files. Is that the key? Should I render the background wall to .mov and then apply the Motion Tracking plug-in?            I think that's the solution.

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
Because the screenshot of your test showed 30fps, I assumed you recorded in 30fps. When it's about going from 60fps to 30fps, I would first try to resample with "blend fields", which combines two frames to one. This ghosting gives also a motion blur

What do others do in place of that function? One option is to use Track Motion placement/sizing functions on an upper Vegas Pro track with the insert video/image on that track motion track: ... then click the glow checkbox. The color and amount of

RE: Prodad Mercalli 5 Pro Plugin works only in preview
@marcinzm So you throw half away of what you recorded and loose smooth motion? I hope you record at least with 180 degree shutter to get appropriate motion blur. I would deliver in 50p and for those slowmotion clips you can just stretch them to 25p

RE: Can VEGAS have a script for One Click 3D Compositing Effect?
@iEmby, Using the changes I sent you, this is what I got: Parent Track Motion was changed but the individual Track Motion on each track was not. If I switch back to your original code before I gave you the changes, I get exactly what you displayed.

RE: Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
@DMT3 much too complicated, take a look at parent motion to equally zoom background AND foreground, no need to copy/paste pan/crop settings to different events. Also with parent track motion you have the possibility to go in 3D where you can give a

RE: Multiple Viewing Screens Option in Vegas Pro?
@Carl-Weingarten You could add a Bezier mask that only shows one side, (This can be done with Pan/Crop too) then shift one of the tracks to align them. Maybe create a project twice the width, use Track Motion to offset the two tracks. Then when

    BETA CURVE OFX with velocity.
Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible, with a plugin or even directly in Vegas, to use the OFX curves to adjust slow motion/fast motion?I'm currently doing it in After Effects because it's a nightmare in Vegas; I don't find it smooth enough, or I

Copying timelines from VP23 to VP22 should work normally, only Track FX/Track motion etc cannot be copied. Fx on events etc are copied.

    1. What's it not doing? 2. Is it at least adjusting the Parent Track Motion now?
