RE: [Solved] Unable to get FSD in preview or External monitor setting
As I suggested earlier that you check and 3POINT has since suggested, the video track on which the offset image was occurring more than likely had Track Moton applied. Track Motion is not an FX; rather, it is similar to pan/crop but affects every

RE: need help with video cropping
If you use Track Motion in the track header, you'll have a much more flexible range of movement which will allow you to place the image where you are seeking to place it. Note however that track motion applies to every video event on that track so

RE: [Solved] PIP & Masking are doing something weird together
This is normal. "Apply to FX" of the mask in Pan/Crop takes effect on all FX in that FX chain. PIP also works only on the mask area because of it. You'd better adjust its position at the track level (track motion or track FX).

Using Track Motion with Motion Tracking PIP - problems (VP 21)
Vegas Pro 21 I am trying to get a small image to track another object in video. I get motion tracking to work fine on one track and then i drag and drop the motion tracking onto another track that contains a small image(and this adds PIP FX). This

    RE: Video top cut off
You can do this by using Track Motion in the track header. When you click on Track Motion, a workspace window similar to pan/crop opens, but in Track Motion you will be able to zoom in without the limitations of pan/crop and be able to fill the

    RE: Moving Face Cam
If you are trying to replicate the vertical 9:16 image as shown in the example image above, you will first need to go to File/Properties in Vegas Pro and in the Templates field select a 9:16 (or code it manually using the other fields. Then in the

RE: Unable to get FSD in preview or External monitor setting
You were right; it looks like there were Track Motion keyframes after all. What puzzles me is how they got there, as I never used that feature. While checking Track Motion, I dragged the slider along the motion path, but the main video didn’t move

    RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f said: "I haven't changed any Pan/Crop settings" That's why you're getting unexpected results with Track Motion. Follow my previous post. For best results, use Pan/Crop to set the size and shape of the event(s). Use Track Motion to locate

RE: Unable to get FSD in preview or External monitor setting
@wilco-n when you move the clip to another track is solving the issue than probably the track motion setting of the issue track is not default. BTW the settings you showed are from the audio track.

    RE: Track Motion Problem
Basically I added a 1920x1080 clip to a 1080x1920 project, increased it size with Track Motion, I had to increase the height to 6069 to fill the preview project size/height. (I tried working out why that number but couldn't) @Gid 1920 * (16 / 9)² =

RE: ► Unresolved Rendering vegas rotates video into strange orientation
I'm pleased that you've found the solution. Just as a suggestion in case you're not already using it, if you've got lots of video events that need to be re-oriented/re-sized in the same way, all of those events can be placed on the same track and -

    RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f Hi, I made a long post about how the Track motion settings relate to Media/Project, size, aspect ratio etc.. but to be honest after a couple of hrs trying to work it all out the sizes in Track Motion didn't seem to corelate to anything.

    RE: Track Motion Problem
From my point of view, avoid using Track Motion to enlarge the footages. (Decreasing is acceptable.) In most cases, Pan/Crop should be used for enlarging. Another way to explain is to quote from a comment that's been made over the years: Pan/Crop

    3D Motion Setup Script

RE: Using Track Motion with Motion Tracking PIP - problems (VP 21)
Update: I have found a decent workaround. I changed my image canvas size to 1920x1080. Its still 300 pixels in middle of image surrounded by transparency but with the overall bounds of image the same size as video, the pan/crop tool can scale and

    RE: Moving Face Cam
The approach I take is similar to above but I find Picture In Picture fx the most convenient. More so than Track Motion. Or pan/crop on the event. Although with a little more work, you might get higher quality with pan/crop.
