  [Solved] Screen capture
  Pro 23 Screen capture after selecting the screen I want to capture it says screen unavailable and yet in the selection the preview is ok. It worked fine in Pro 21. I would be grateful for any help?

  @James-Menday Vegas Capture is a screen capture app, not for capturing from DV cameras. You will have to continue using WinDV. The ability to capture from DV and HDV devices with Vegas was discontinued several versions ago.

  Vegas display screen capture has never really worked consistently for me and only with some gpus... did it ever work for you with vp21? If it still works, you should be able to continue using vp21 for capture. But I suggest you do screen capture

  I've been using Vegas since version 1, skipping versions over the years. I just bought into 23 from 10 and the Capture app is still pretty bad. Can't capture simple audio from my ASIO device without it sounding pretty bad. Otoh, Camtasia sounds fine

  I honestly think VEGAS Capture should be removed.It’s no longer necessary, as there are already plenty of reliable and optimized screen recorders available — especially those that come bundled with modern graphic card software like NVIDIA ShadowPlay
