RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
Yes I know and I explained that there are several factors which have influence on the result. When you can see ghosting images when using blending resampling for motion blur then motion was too fast.

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
Wondering: when you render that part - how's the result for that roof? - is it flickering, meaning part of the tiles able to be motion blurred in one frame, but on the other frame, not motion blurred - not consistent?

RE: Vegas Pro 23 - Visual Preset Chain Major Problem
@Jimmyhogs if you're using the DirectX version of NewBlue plugins, I'd strongly recommend that you switch to the OpenFX version. The DirectX versions are no longer supported (and Motion Effects is no longer supported as it's been replaced with the

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
Because the screenshot of your test showed 30fps, I assumed you recorded in 30fps. When it's about going from 60fps to 30fps, I would first try to resample with "blend fields", which combines two frames to one. This ghosting gives also a motion blur

RE: Multiple Viewing Screens Option in Vegas Pro?
@Carl-Weingarten You could add a Bezier mask that only shows one side, (This can be done with Pan/Crop too) then shift one of the tracks to align them. Maybe create a project twice the width, use Track Motion to offset the two tracks. Then when

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
@relaxvideo I'm not sure what you mean in your example. Adding motion blur means just blurring moving objects and keep static objects sharp. To distinguish between moving and static objects, there should be no camera movements.

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
I see ghosting, double image also while playing.. And yes of course record in 30fps with correct shutter would be the best method, but this topic is about "Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?" :)

RE: Can you create 180 degree motion blur in post?
but i already recorded in smooth 60fps and now like to render to 30p with nice motion blur..And no, i don't want to fly even slower. Drone FPV is about speed :) set: yes, exactly! not consistent!

RE: Updating an SD MiniDV project to HD in Vegas Pro 23
UPDATE: I've very recently finished my 2007 Switzerland MiniDV redo project uprezing it from SD to HD and most importantly stabilising the video in DV20 - which is great for SD to HD stab. I've now started on doing the same with the rest of the trip

RE: Slow UI response when opening windows (Track Motion, FX, panels)
Yes, VEGAS Pro is installed on the C: drive where the OS is installed. However, the temporary files and working media are located on a separate NVMe SSD that is actually faster than the system drive. I normally keep the OS and applications on C:,

RE: 3D stereoscopic movies
to convert to 2D, you could set your project settings to a 2D format, like 1920x1080, and then just pan the image using track motion or pan/crop so that only one of the 2 sides of the image fills the frame. VEGAS stopped supporting 3D because it was

Slow UI response when opening windows (Track Motion, FX, panels)
Hello, I have noticed that the user interface in VEGAS Pro sometimes feels slow when opening certain windows. I don't mean playback performance or rendering, but specifically the UI response when opening panels. For example: Track Motion

RE: Slow UI response when opening windows (Track Motion, FX, panels)
Yes, that’s very similar to what I experience as well. It’s not something that really prevents working normally, and like you I’ve mostly just accepted it as part of how VEGAS behaves. Playback and rendering are very fast on my system, so it’s

RE: An alternative to Pan&Crop?
@Sunky All I can say is that Pan/Crop is almost the fundamental logic of VEGAS Pro. It cannot be replaced by any other FX. Before Pan/Crop, FX processes the raw video footage, and the content will be "rasterized" to the resolution of the project by

RE: how to use z-depth 3d render pass for depth of filed blur in vegas 23
I'm not sure of a built-in way to control blur with another black and white depth map image, the best approach I can think of is to set the track with the depth mask on it to the Multiply composite mode. Make 2 copies of your video, one with a blur
