RE: Feature requests: retain fx entering Multicam Edit & many event fx
@Al_Korzonas is it not usual to edit/trim first in a multicam project and after that when switching back to the final timeline adding fx/color corrections etc? Adding fx/color corrections before, could hamper a fluent preview while editing/trimming

RE: What format does Vegas send data to the encoder?
It isn't getting the same quality of data as Vegas's local encoders get but don't know how to measure how bad that is or what's happening. If I give Vegas a grayscale gradient from pure black to pure white I get a different amount of unique colors

RE: Vegas Pro 22 AI Masking - what did I do wrong?!
In addition to chroma keyer, color corrector secondary can also be used to select ranges of color and make it transparent.

Copying color grading settings from one clip to another does not save values and will soft lock the user out from doing any color grade changes unless they reset to default values.

RE: COLOR GRADING automation/keyframe Hell
Here's an easy way to automate the color wheels... Place an event on the timeline. We're going to assume that someone walks into another room with different lighting in this clip, and we need to adjust the color corrector accordingly to pull off

RE: Magix video for color grading
They are just adjusting luminance using curves and then adding saturation globally. You can do much more than this in the color grading panel! But why make a video about color grading and only show a short cut? I know Gamers who use Vegas Pro all

RE: Color Grading
For calibration I'd get a hardware device like an i1Display Pro (used) or the current model or similar. It comes with software to standardize the monitor's color. Get it to 120 nits brightness or so. If it has a Rec709 color mode go with that for

@jacknsb I was able to copy/paste color grading to another clip without any issues. And if I wanted to edit the pasted event in the color grading panel, I could without issue.

RE: Chroma Keyer
Here's an example of it with 23. The bright cyan is actually green that is keyed out. It would look black as there's no background except that I put a solid color (cyan) beneath it. Personally I prefer the color corrector secondary for fine tuning

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 Crash When MOV File Load. MOV File Attached

32bit color for 10bit media still looks to be slow in Vegas23, for 4K footage color graded I get 30fps 32bit, 130fps 8bit. So that's disappointing. Is the engine improvement complete or still more work? When working with media I had flipped 180
