[Solved] Motion Tracking causes freezing
I recently moved from Vegas 19 to 22, and every time I try to use motion tracking it freezes. Doesn't matter if I change videos, formats, or any of the settings in the motion tracking window. At best I was able to make it track for 1 frame before

[Solved] cancel the slow motion created by the VP 22 compress tool
Hi, after selecting the clip and activating the compress tool and reducing (slow motion), if I want to cancel and return to the size before compression, what is the way to do this? (without using undo) Thanks

RE: [Solved] PIP & Masking are doing something weird together
This is normal. "Apply to FX" of the mask in Pan/Crop takes effect on all FX in that FX chain. PIP also works only on the mask area because of it. You'd better adjust its position at the track level (track motion or track FX).

RE: [Solved] Motion Tracking causes freezing
Well if the reported bug is to do with choosing perspective mode it's different to mine, as my freeze occurs with all modes. After some further testing I figured out the freeze is caused whenever I adjust the motion tracking rectangle. As long as I

Using Track Motion with Motion Tracking PIP - problems (VP 21)
Vegas Pro 21 I am trying to get a small image to track another object in video. I get motion tracking to work fine on one track and then i drag and drop the motion tracking onto another track that contains a small image(and this adds PIP FX). This

RE: [Solved] Can I copy over image keyframes when duplicating image onto new track?
What, exactly, are you wanting to copy? You can COPY the event to the new track and it should include all effects & Pan/Crop settings: evnt.Copy(newTrack, StartTime); Or are you referring to Track Motion settings?

[Solved] Is there an in-timeline visual cue for slow motion clips?
I have a project from a colleague that is not my normal workflow, with random clips recorded at double the framerate. Slow motion may be useful on some but not others, so I'm wondering if I simply move everything to the timeline, can there be any

RE: Video top cut off
You can do this by using Track Motion in the track header. When you click on Track Motion, a workspace window similar to pan/crop opens, but in Track Motion you will be able to zoom in without the limitations of pan/crop and be able to fill the

RE: Aborting a foreach loop containing a stabilisation effect
@Jack S Another thought: when I want to analyze motion data, I first check to see if "HasMotionData" is already true. If it is true, either I don't run the analyze (not needed) or I do the "ParameterChanged" operation on the "CLearMotionData" (crazy

Basically I added a 1920x1080 clip to a 1080x1920 project, increased it size with Track Motion, I had to increase the height to 6069 to fill the preview project size/height. (I tried working out why that number but couldn't) @Gid 1920 * (16 / 9)² =

[Solved] How to work with timeline from the text "location" timeline?

RE: Vegas Pro 22 - Rendering is not smooth
Thanks Alex. I checked and don't see duplicate frames, which is good. How exactly did you do the slow motion? Since the original footage was 50p you just halved the playback rate ("add at project framerate") to get perfect 25fps slow motion? Was the

RE: motion tracking issues
Vegas native motion tracking doesn't use AI, and is a relatively basic motion tracker. Mocha Vegas (and Mocha Pro) is better - but still doesn't use AI, and also doesn't fair well with pong

RE: Using Track Motion with Motion Tracking PIP - problems (VP 21)

RE: Pan/Crop a 360 Still Photo (8000x4000), outputting 1080P resolution
I you just want to crop a 1080p portion from your UHD frame, I recommend using Track Motion, and not Event Pan/Crop. Far more intuitive, and it's nondestructive. Apart from being irrelevant to Rob's problem I don't necessarily agree. My

RE: Problems with Motion Tracking Tool and Mesh Warp
@jayhoov I think I see a pattern in Vegas 22 with motion tracking. The object tracker won't move to a new position if you don't first add the Motion Tracking plugin first before going to the main menu and selecting Tools - Video - Motion Tracking.
