RE: Just started Motion Tracker V22
I completely agree with @Gid ... split the video event into segments isolating where tracking needs to be applied and then apply tracking to those isolated segments of the video event. When doing this at the event level, there is no need to have the

[Solved] Vegas Pro 20 (Build 411) - Issue With Track Motion
Hi guys, So, as per the title, I’m having a problem with Vegas Pro 20 (Build 411 - I don’t believe my issue is related to the build number of VP). The situation is that I used to be able, with previous versions of Vegas Pro, use Track Motion to

RE: Aborting a foreach loop containing a stabilisation effect
@Jack S Another thought: when I want to analyze motion data, I first check to see if "HasMotionData" is already true. If it is true, either I don't run the analyze (not needed) or I do the "ParameterChanged" operation on the "CLearMotionData" (crazy

RE: Track Motion Problem
Basically I added a 1920x1080 clip to a 1080x1920 project, increased it size with Track Motion, I had to increase the height to 6069 to fill the preview project size/height. (I tried working out why that number but couldn't) @Gid 1920 * (16 / 9)² =

[Solved] How to work with timeline from the text "location" timeline?
I am trying to move text from the top of a screen downwards over a short period of time (0.5-1 second) and when I try using the "motion tracking" function it just makes the text shake everywhere and it's off. So I don't mind doing it manually. (When

[Solved] Motion Tracking Out of Bounds
I motion tracked a clip and Vegas seemed to do an excellent job. When I transferred the motion to a piece of text, however, things got complicated. You could say that the text moves with the motion of the subject (which is great), but it doesn't lay

RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f Hi, I made a long post about how the Track motion settings relate to Media/Project, size, aspect ratio etc.. but to be honest after a couple of hrs trying to work it all out the sizes in Track Motion didn't seem to corelate to anything.

RE: [Solved] Just started Motion Tracker V22
@Bria Got to be honest I use Mocha Pro for tracking so I'm not the best person to advise on VP's tracker, but with any tracker inc Mocha it will be easier to split your video into the individual scenes that need tracking, If you don't you'll have to

RE: Track Motion Problem
From my point of view, avoid using Track Motion to enlarge the footages. (Decreasing is acceptable.) In most cases, Pan/Crop should be used for enlarging. Another way to explain is to quote from a comment that's been made over the years: Pan/Crop

RE: How can i get 50fps smoothness in 25fps render.?
@iEmby The only way you are going to keep the smoothness without motion blurring, artifacting, judder, jarring and without using various techniques like optical flow, AI (which can introduce the above issues) is very simple: slow motion. In your

RE: [Solved] Lag - preview
@Jakub The lag problem you are facing is largely due to decoding HEVC (H.265) with your current system. Your processor is a KF variant, the "F" meaning it does not have an internal GPU. This is a pity, because intel processors with a graphical unit

RE: Vegas Pro 22 - Rendering is not smooth
Thanks Alex. I checked and don't see duplicate frames, which is good. How exactly did you do the slow motion? Since the original footage was 50p you just halved the playback rate ("add at project framerate") to get perfect 25fps slow motion? Was the

Vegas native motion tracking doesn't use AI, and is a relatively basic motion tracker. Mocha Vegas (and Mocha Pro) is better - but still doesn't use AI, and also doesn't fair well with pong

RE: need help understanding this stuttering pan phenomenon
@Mindmatter filming at 50P is good for occasional slomo and for fast movement such as panning or fast moving subjects, but if you are going to produce in 25P, the convert will drop frames and you are still stuck with noticeable stuttering/jerkiness
