RE: How to zoom multiple clips on a video track
Wow, thank you. I found Track Motion - it's right there in the hamburger three line menu on the track! I guess I can put keyframes in across all the clips on the timeline and use those to mark the zooms start and end points I want.

Ok I have completed the script(s). Thank you for your assistance @jetdv :-) I decided not to bother with the settings dialog, as it was beating me and when I thought more about it, it made no sense as it would slow down the interaction, and after

RE: add keyframe with pan crop on video track script
@marcinzm First of all Pan/Crop is an EVENT tool so you can't add "Pan/Crop" keyframes to anything except an event. If you truly want pan/crop, you'll have to do it at the event level. Now if you want it on the TRACK level, you can use Track

New to Vegas. Videostudio user. Crossfade doesn't work.
Hi, I am new to this forum and am using a trial version to try and learn this software because I am just so sick of the bugs in Video Studio which are NEVER fixed and increase in number with every new version (loooong time user). I must say that

    RE: Some final questions
    1. Pan/Crop is the correct way to do it. Pan/Crop will work with the full resolution of the image. Track Motion works with the video frame so zooming in you'll lose resolution. So do your zooming and panning with Pan/Crop. 2. No, it doesn't matter.

RE: How to prevent auto-resize? What's the point of "disable resample"?
I agree, it's not easy (unless I'm missing something). As a sanity check I just did the same thing in Photoshop- 1920x1080p canvas and brought a 500p image in and stuck it in the corner. With the same 500p original image in VEGAS I went to pan/crop

RE: VEGAS Pro Update 3 - new feature tutorials, benchmark comparisons
Here's the final result. The first 5 frames are messed up, and there's a little bit of video to the right of her that didn't get properly masked out, I could easily clean that up by refining the smart mask or just masking those areas to her right

RE: How do I change the center point of pan/crop?
Rory,I am not really understanding your point. They are both doing a digital zoom. The PanCrop does it using the original resolution of the image, the track motion does it using the project resolution. The PanCrop gives you a better final product

hey all, just returned to vegas for the first time since... I dont remember which Sony version. for a few years I begrudgingly eked out a few projects using the other current NLE options that aren't subscriptions (which means i used Resolve lol).

RE: Smart Mask (AI assisted automatic masking) Introduction
Potentially very useful. Got it to detect and motion track a teddy bear that just happened to be in the first clip I tried, but disappointed that the AI could not recognise a vehicle registration plate. Increasingly I need to blur out a car number

    RE: Picture In Picture
Ok, I'm not seeing anything odd in any of these images. It's best to use the tools to perform their desired task: 1. Pan/Crop - affects the one event - designed to crop an image and allow panning across the image. In this case, you would not be

RE: Moving video behind of a mask
@Godzinhu I'm not 100% sure what you're doing because you have Motion Tracker in the fx chain before Pan/Crop, Whatever tracking you've done may be being counteracted by your keyframes in Pan/Crop but apart from the 1st keyframe there's no other

Vegas Pro 20 Track, can't choose the right thing
I explain my problem in this video: basically it put the tracked values into "motionblur.shutter angle" instead of "hotspot" aka position. It works fine with the normal LensFlare, but it's bugged with the s_lensflare (sapphire)It's so frustrating

RE: How do I resize and position an image?
Disadvantage Trackmotion, resizing and repositioning cannot be done directly in the preview and without separate keyframes the setting is valid for the whole track. But as another esteemed member of the forum has pointed out a number of times over

Will you accidentally roll the wheel when pressing mouse wheel?
I always think it is a strange decision to assign the task of panning preview to the middle mouse button. Panning the preview window has become a very common operation for users when making masks or motion tracking. Whenever I press the middle mouse

RE: Apply motion to multiple tracks at once
