RE: I created a Vegas GPT assistant
@fr0sty Very interesting. Perhaps this can serve to help guide development of such features officially. It definitely works better than any manual ever could, as you don't have to dig for the info you want, and you can ask for it to go more

RE: Are you EU people shooting in 30P if it's a purely youtube project?
#1. About the Pro setting on Samsung with 24P: converting to 25P in post is indeed not such big problem and not that noticeable, at least not frame wise by adding a duplicate frame once every ... , but there is still the issue of sound which is not

Then use Track Motion to zoom the image to fill the whole 9:16 frame @Dexcon Hi, Is Track motion better then using Pan/Crop to correct video? Is there any difference?

AcePro 2 with Vegas Pro 19
I’m shooting with my AcePro 2 in 8K/30 fps, and editing with Vegas Pro 19. When placing any 8K clip on the timeline (e.g. a six-second clip), playing the clip in Vegas – even before adding effects – is extremely jerky. The Vegas settings

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 - Jerky and Laggy Audio Dragging on Timeline
@Abdali: Could you please describe what you mean by 'extracted'. What's your workflow? We would like to reproduce it. By "extracted," I meant the standard process of working with an audio event that has been separated from a video clip. Here is a

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 - Jerky and Laggy Audio Dragging on Timeline
Does it matter what kind of audio it is? PCM WAV? MP3? AAC from a video? It's not just that it's snapping to frames is it? After further testing, I've found that the issue is specific to the media type. The jerky and laggy behavior happens with audio

RE: How to zoom all tracks?
The above is a bug in my Vegas -- the width in the Motion field is taken from the *height* of the project. It's time to upgrade. One more question -- how do I temporarily disable Parent Motion? Mute disables all Child tracks at once. The Level

RE: VP21 b300 - VP22. Still unresolved bugs with 4K MXF and HEVC files
Here you can see how 4k MXF does not play smoothly, even though the Preview window shows the full number of frames https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JaMFSKaz9RqzkOt0nM7YWi8gPFh5sjMg/view?usp=drive_link The preview in Vegas has its limitations. It

RE: I'm Tired of Vegas Slander
I never found any video editing software even half as fast and intuitive as Vegas. I'm stoked to be back with it. Hopefully the underlying paradigm and design of it never changes into something stodgy and slow like other software. Gonna have to

RE: Help with render on YouTube
@mrflenty It pains me to tell you that the 10,000 pound elephant in the room is not your excellent encoding settings in either OBS or Vegas, but in the quality ceiling that is imposed by Youtube's upload servers, where the delivery bitrate, and thus

@Timothy-Dhalleine "Frame rate : 100.000 FPS" Do you plan to deliver your project at 100.000 FPS? or Do you plan to use the media for slow motion in a project with a lower frame rate, 29.970p etc.? Then, the larger question: Why are you shooting

RE: Best Render Settings for Sony ZV-E10 In Vegas Pro 22? (1080P 30)
With Youtube, as well as with most streaming services, the limiting factor is their delivery bitrate ceiling, and not the bitrate of the source you sent to them. Youtube simply doesn't let the tail (us) wag the dog (them), and I think their output

RE: Vegas Pro 20 (Build 411) - Issue With Track Motion
Based on the mixed experiences posted here, where those of us on AMD seem to have the issue and those on Intel/NVIDIA not having the issue, my guess is that it’s an AMD problem. I wonder if we were to compare the program configuration files for

RE: Render uses just about all my CPU
@huskereurocat These OBS settings work well for me. Suggest you try 29.97 fps if you can get away with it. If the video being captured has high motion that blurs or streaks, try setting the Vegas project property to Best and raising the OBS bitrate
