  Thanks, but it did not work. I uninstalled quicktime completely and cleaned up the registry etc. I tried VMS but it needed quicktime to work with the MOV files. So, I installed 7.60. But no luck it still does the same crash as per the error report

  Vegas 11 Crashes everytime with REDONE Project?
  I have Vegas 11 Pro Build 682 64-bit and it crashes every 15 ninutes or so when I am editing. I have a i7 64 bit 320 HHz with 12 gigs of RAM. I just built this machine myself for $800. I have a Black Magic Intensity Pro for HDMI output as well.
