Rendering to a 10bit intermediate
I've just wanted to experiment a little with using 10bit intermediate for heavy CC-ing and grading, in order to compare results with those of using the 8 bit mxf files (either 4:2:0 from my EX1, or 4:2:2 from my nanoFlash). So, I downloaded both

RE: glitches in mp3 rendering
I've experienced the same problem. The audio track had 96kbps 24 bit audio and noise reduction was in the processing chain. I re-rendered to a 16 bit 44.1kbps .wav file and was able to render a .mp3 without the errors. Using Vegas 8 at the

Blue screen of death while using Vegas 9
Hi, I am getting more problems with Vegas and Acid pro crashing the system during work. It probably has something to do with my soundcard (Terratec DMX 6fire 24/96), but I am not sure. Symptoms: A. Often the sound just falls away with a ‘tdup’

Actually, I tried that setting on Vegas before importing to the timeline and vegas refuses to correct the footage to 29 fps. Vegas uses "NTSC DV 24p (720x480, 23.976 fps)" pulldown as the properties. When I try to use another template, something

I agree about the Sanyo Xacti FH1. This is by far the best $400 camcorder around. Of course, if you can spend more, you can get more. The new Panasonic TM700 offers higher quality 1080/60p video (slightly higher bitrates), really good optical
