RE: ts_video or not?
It sounds like Sony has phone support guys who don't know what is going on. Perhaps they hired some inexpensive help for phone service. I would suggest that you contact through support e-mail. . SOFO has always provided great support and answers

RE: ts_video or not?
The 'only burn in DVD/A' rule also prohibits the inclusion of a data folder on a dvd as far as I can tell. DVD/A is sold as an authoring program. Yet it does not supply all the tools needed to author a commercial and competitive dvd. There are

RE: Does anyone know anything about the Jumpback software?
No I don't work for them but... Forums/Tech Support/Phone Support/Staff are awesome - extremely knowledgeable and willing to help. They have "bundle" pricing, magazine ads which offer more special deals, and specials on their website. I own several

I already contacted Customer Service by phone and they flatly refused to hear this. I tried to go around via tech support and unfortunately it has been 6 days since their first and only reply. If anybody reading this message knows this info, I

RE: OT Nero or Roxio?
I have issue with both. They both seem overly buggy to me and I never got either to function properly on my computer. Easy CD/DVD 6 is totally lame at DVD movie creation. Don't even bother. As for data back up, there is no backup function per se.

RE: Open Discussion On Product Activation
"... consider Microsoft ... If it really turned away that many customers then they would drop it. They haven't." I think that's a poor example -- MS has its user base hamstrung by being a monopolistic entity. You (and thousands like you) can't just

RE: Open Discussion On Product Activation
I also have to voice my opinion regarding Product Activation. Plain and simple, it Sucks! Yes, some of you are saying I have no clue what I am talking about. Case-in-point. During the boom of the Internet I invested money by purchasing online from a

RE: What's the secret?
I had the same problem. While on the phone with Sony I found that I could get to the proper forum list by going through SUPPORT-FORUMS. I guess my desktop shortcut wasn't any good. Once I got to the right forums page, I created a desktop shortcut

RE: More ? on thermal printing

RE: Why does "Exit" close my program?
That's because they don't make power switches anymore. Grrrrr. Now they make "Mode State Change Request Actuators". *sigh* Last time i was on the phone with HP support i told them that i can still pull the plug out of the wall socket when i need to.
