MS12 Suite - What should I get in the 'box'?
Hi all - I've decided to plump for the MS12 Suite, purchasing the boxed version with 2 DVD-ROMs and the additional NewBlueFX titles etc through Amazon... However, what I've received is a cardboard sleeve with a single DVD-ROM, marked OEM, with no

Movie Studio HD installation post-free trial
Okay so I've been trying to get this program to work for a good four hours. I ordered Movie Studio from amazon (new copy, official amazon, etc.) and when I try to install it, it installs properly but (since I had a free trial on here about six

Serial Number activation
I may have a problem here but on the other hand, maybe I don't so advice is requested. For several months now I have had VMS HD Plat. along with DVDA 5.0 installed on my machine as a purchased package. Recently I decided that the 'extras' afforded

RE: Serial number doesn't work
All disks ship with a copy of DVDA. The retails version comes with a card which has the serial numbers for both Vegas and DVDA on it. Reading the description on Amazon it makes no mention of DVDA. Reading the description on Adorama's site it is

RE: Serial number doesn't work
Assuming this is a boxed version, there should have been a card in there with the serial number for Vegas as well as one for DVDA. You say only one serial number was supplied - how was it supplied ? Normally there is a card with the serial numbers

Serial number doesn't work
I purchased Sony Vegas pro 9.0 with the included DVD Architect 5.0 from Amazon. I successfully installed and registered Vegas, but only one serial number was supplied, and it won't work with DVD Architect. This is a real hassle! Is this a known

RE: Very upset with Sony..hope they read this.
I will call customer service tomorrow again, the last two times I tried they were closed; including today after UPS delivered the envelope after 5:45pm PST. I'm just upset because I've been waiting for the software so that I can finish up a

updating to 9.0b
I tried the trial version, and liked it so much I bought the software from Amazon (there is a $30 rebate now!). I uninstalled the trial version, then installed the disc. It kept coming up as still the trial, but I worked that out by pretending to

RE: DVD Architect Pro with Vegas 8 Pro?
If you bought Vegas Pro directly from Sony, your purchase includes DVD Architect. Wherever you got your Vegas serial number (in an e-mail, in the package, whatever), that's where you'll find your DVD Architect serial number. If you bought Vegas Pro

OT- 4x BluRay burner is here
Here's a link for the new 4x BluRay burner: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-BWU200S-Blu-ray-Serial-Drive/dp/B000XB0R4U/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_3/104-6390787-6293533 But in fact, I'm thinking the best and cheapest way to do this BluRay thing right now is to

RE: Is SATA RAID (0) much faster than IDE?
I would avoid a Raid 0 setup for a speed increase. It will shorten the life of the drives (which are of lower quality today) and run the risk of data loss. Overall, the drives have not kept up with the faster processing technology of today's

Shortly after I posted my question about v6/7 compatability, I e-mailed Sony to ask about the free upgrade entitlement. I also e-mailed Amazon UK (because that's what it said I should do on the Sony website). Speedy response from Amazon saying (not

RE: Upgrade Vegas Platinum to Production
Technically there is no such thing as an upgrade, just an “upgrade price”. The software you get is a full version that does not check for any previous version (which I have always applauded Sony for because the way Microsoft handles upgrades simply

Hmm... Do you have the latest update to VMS? (You might want to completely uninstall what you have and install just this update, which acts as the full version—keep your serial key handy.) Also try reducing or turning off video acceleration to see

Movie Studio 3.0 available in the UK?
Can't find it in Amazon.co.uk, and the "buy now" in the menu list isn't the "pay now and get a serial number to type in" variety. With P&P costs of $50 against software worth $99 (via the Sony site anyway) I'm not exactly rushing to the buy

RE: PC Mag Review of VF2 Wrong?
I've seen Screenblast at CompUSA and, I think, Best Buy for around $69. The most amazing deal I've seen, however, is on Amazon.com.
