Pixelated frames appear in render between events
An old problem popped up in Vegas 20 that I think was solved in Vegas 19. My Canon XF300 makes a series of 2Gigabyte MXF files during a long shoot. I place them all on the timeline butted up against each other. I render pretty exclusively with

[Solved] transient glitch viewing or rendering
Get an annoying glitch during playback that comes and goes with Vegas v17. It occurs while transitioning between segmented clips that are adjacent to one another on the timeline. Kind of hard to capture because usually once I see it and replay that

Voukoder render has pixleated frames around some event transitions
I have been getting a strange error in MP4s rendered with Voukoder. (Before I go any further, I LOVE Voukoder, beautiful images, small files.) The symptom is a brief pixelated image in the rendered file at the point the timeline transitions from one

RE: no audio on MXF import
@Daniel-Horne I was able to play the file with sound in MPC-HC. Mediainfo follows: General Complete name : C:\Users\John\Desktop\Canon C300\AA010401.MXF Format : MXF Commercial name

RE: Artifacts in Rendered file Vegas Pro 15
Hi @Musicvid Here is the text from File infomation and Mediainfo as requested. Today using build 416 I rendered the original project without making any adjustments and the artifacts did not appear. Looking at the SO4 fix, I am not sure if this would

RE: Problem with tags?
Could it be that one file has corruption and is hanging on the peak building? You might try batch rendering clips to Sony.MXF>XDCAM 422 format. This should be a smart render, so no loss on image quality. Could be something with the file format

RE: Slow renders...
There have been so many threads on this topic. I would replace that 460 GPU with 7970 or r9 270x, or r9 290x(for future upgrade path only.) See some of my other posts detailing steps to test vegas with new card. My 870 system with an AMD 5770,

RE: More GPU weirdness: AMD R9 290x
I love this...."Canon's newly developed MPEG-2 4:2:2 codec--to record Full HD video to affordable Compact Flash cards." You might try and convert some of your footage to XDCAM 422 mxf, and see if that works better on your timeline. I

RE: 25p from Canon 5DmII to MXF 50i , is that okay?
"When I do this, my output MXF files have flashes in them where the screen turns black for a split second. " Something really wrong there! It should just work. I just tested this for you. I rendered a 57s clip from my EX1 shot in 25p HQ to MXF

RE: MORE on the XDCAM EX, and other XDCAMs etc.
I agree with John.. Sony learnt from pana that Solid state is the way of the future, and the workflow of solid state has ben proven, albeit rather disjointed due to Pana's wierd relationship with certain NLE manufacturers. Many people have held
