Seriously, can't you keep your stutter rants confined to one thread? I'm not seeing stutter and I often work with automobile racing footage which is nothing but quick pans.

He did say that he "Uninstalled Edius, Adobe Premier and Avid having compared performance with Vegas..." so I assume that having too many different pieces of competing software on the same computer was the problem.
i.e. alpha males fighting with each other for dominance :-)
Proof positive that Vegas (at least for Lars) is top dog!!

Removing the programs can't be the fix, because he had the problem prior to downloading those demos.

I have the problem and I don't have any of those NLEs loaded. So...
