So, 10,000 posts is the recommended limit before an oil change? I did not know that.

I'll have to remember that when my forum software starts getting close.

This as cool as when my car passed 275,000 miles. :) i just don't have a camera to take a picture of the 10,000 number. :) Oh, I changed the oil on it occationaly....
Spot|DSE wrote on 3/25/2003, 10:35 PM
Geez, Rex, I was hoping to pop the number. I thought the person who did won a 3 minute shopping spree here on the SOFO site, and gets to keep everything they can get in their shopping cart in 3 minutes for free!!
Oh yeah. There is no cart here.
Contgrats!

HappyFriar, that reminds me of when i traded in my 8 year old Taurus wagon with 313,235 miles on it. They gave me $745 for the trade-in, and as i was signing the paperwork for the new car the dealer was taking the engine out of the old Taurus to put into another customer's car that only had 250,000 miles. Last i heard, four years later that engine is still running with close to 400,000 miles now. That's what comes from always changing the oil :)
rextilleon wrote on 3/26/2003, 7:39 AM
Spot, can you use some of your connections in Wisconsin to at least get me an autographed picture of the development team?
TheHappyFriar wrote on 3/26/2003, 8:55 AM
My car unfortunitly didn't last. I just got the car inspected, regesteration renewed, and 4 brand new snow tires and on my way home from work... *BOOM* my engine blew. :) oh well. I'm getting a 94 taurus thie saturday. Yippie!
wcoxe1 wrote on 3/26/2003, 10:27 AM
Sounds like a mild communte, to me. I am lucky in that I only put on about 45 miles a day. But my sister's secretary puts in close to 210 a day EVERY work day. Not that is crazy.
Chienworks wrote on 3/26/2003, 11:14 AM
Marquat: LOL! Yeah, lots of driving. However, the car was owned by a travelling salesman for the first 7 years. I only put about 14,000 miles on it the year that i owned it. He did a route approximately 175 miles every day. *whew* And i think my 3.5 mile commute is long ...

150 mph? You must do a lot of driving in the Toronto area ;)
