Just looked at the Mitsubishi 1080P DLP's with brighter dingus in the back and they are very good. Far better than the older models. Also looked at the $15,000.00 Runco with 2.35 x 1 screen and mask setup which wasn't as bright but it was very good. Next TV will be 1080P for sure.
Yes, I would agree. I saw the first 1080p sets at CEDIA last September and they are fantastic. Well worth the money.
I would have to advise against the Runko though. Not that they are bad projectors, but way over priced for what you get. Panasonic, Epson, Samsung, Sony, and some others will do just as good for musc less money.
Stewart has a screen that will change from 1:85:1 to 2.35:1 by adjusting the black. Way cool.
