10d does not render AVC

I have a project with 4 cameras (2 720p and 2 SD) and I was able to render mpeg2 SD.

Now I'm trying to "render as" a loop to do some checks hd player.
First try I selected Sony AVC, profile HDV720, use GPU if possible: rendering started and stopped due to end of disk space (my fault).
After the error the program told me there is 10d available, so I installed it and rebooted.

After installing 10d I was not able to do any Sony AVC rendering, it stops after 12/24 frames. Changed parameters, also set number of threads to 1 but rendering stops...

It just finished to render the loop with codec mpeg2, profile HDV720-25p but media player classic plays it with the audio "frames" reversed...

Step 1 - see 'sticky" post #3 above and fill in your system specs.

I was having a problem with Sony on AVC on Vegas 10c (and think others were also). However, when 10d became available I have been able to render a bunch of AVC files for You Tube using Sony AVC with no problems at all.

There is not a known problem in rending AVC in 10d .. I do it often .. Sounds like a system problem. Can you de-install and re-install Vegas? .. If this does not work, is the problem ONLY with this particular project? .. Can you render to AVC with other media?

system info added.

opened a new project and tried to render some clips from gh-1, nikon d3100, mini-dv (upscaling). All failed after about 24 rendered frames.

Maximum number of rendered frames set to 1, 8, 16, same result.

"An error occurred while creating the media file Untitled.mp4. The reason for the error could not be determined."

I tried another profile (internet 1280x720 25p) and it rendered. I switched back to the AVC 720 (that is 50p) and now it renders ok...
