Well, it's more than a bugfix release, and will support more cameras and 3D implementations, all good news.

But the two things I was hoping for, full BWF export, and VST on the surround master, sadly did not make it into this release. I'll probably just wait it out and upgrade later. Still on 8.0c

While Musicvid didn't get what he wanted from Santa Claus, I did!

One thing that caught my eye in the release notes is "Added support for reading and writing deeper color depths using CineForm codec." This is great! Since Cineform merged with Go Pro they have given NeoHD users all the functions of Neo4K as a free upgrade. This apparently means that Vegas can now do YUV, RGB(A), or RAW chroma format encoding to Cineform at up to 12-bit 4:4:4. Along with the new .MVC and .MPO 3D format support, I'm jazzed.

Note that under rendering options, it now says "Sony AVC/MVC" :)

I didn't get what I wanted either.
Repeatable crash with Decklink ASIO audio driver and ripple edit on - undo crashes every time.
Maybe 10.0e?? or 11.00??

Have Decklink offered to fix their thing ? Or is it confirmed as a Vegas problem ?

No idea Geoff...
Reported to BMD and it was ignored. SONY SCS repro'd the issue and said it would be fixed in a future release - whatever that may be.

Downloaded 64bit and installed perfectly. Runs and renders great here.

I'm sooo glad it's up online. Now the incessant whining can stop! Woohoo!
Now if I just had some work to do (that actually pays something...).

Installed both 32bit and 64 bit versions - everything working so far :)
Could be imagining things, Sony AVC render to MP4 (for vimeo HD) seems faster.
