16:9 letterbox support

I just downloaded vegas video to give it a try. I was
curious if it support''s letterboxing 16:9 shot footage for
proper display on 4:3 TV''s?
I hope it does. This option seems to be overlooked by the
people at Adobe so I will use this software if it does
support it.

yes, you can use 16:9 in a 4:3 project. You might want to
use the event pan/crop tools- this will allow you to adjust
the framing of each shot for the new aspect.
