1920x1080 European Blu-ray creation

Been creating a number of projects in Movie studio 12, all to be collated into single Blu-ray disc using DVDA studio 5

My understanding is that for best HD playback (in Europe) I should be aiming to achieve the 1080p that TV’s support. (frrom Blu-ray player of course)

I was given advice to render using MainConcept 1920x1080, 50i and the 2 interleaved frames end up being acceptable to Blu-ray specification for European 25p (merges duplicate frames)
The settings on template are shown here: http://tinyurl.com/qf9t3u9

I have my finished sub-project renders, the rendered files show as being:
Width : 1 920 pixels
Height : 1 080 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 16:9
Frame rate : 25.000 fps
Color space : YUV
Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0
Bit depth : 8 bits
Scan type : Interlaced
Scan order : Top Field First

The issue is when I drop them into DVDA, under project properties it shows: http://tinyurl.com/oq29pv4

As you can see there is no 25p option ……… what am I doing wrong ?

BluRay does not support 1080p except at 24fps.

Since your video is already interlaced, make a 50i and it should work fine. Some players or TVs may convert to progressive.
