2-3-3-2 Pulldown

I would like to use the mpeg-2 DVD Architect template to render my video. I used 2-3-3-2 pulldown when shooting with my DVX100a setting on 24PA. From what I can tell, the mpeg-2 template in Vegas only does 2-3 pulldown. I see that you can render an avi file using a 2-3-3-2 pulldown template but how does DVD Architect handle that when compressing to mpeg-2? Anyone else using these methods? Thanks

From what I understand, 2-3-3-2 pulldown should be used when your intent is to continue editing because it’s easier/more acurate for NLE’s to remove and get the cadence right. It is a "source" format. 2-3 pulldown is what DVD players are going to expect (if you want them to remove it on-the-fly) and so if this is your “final” render to DVD you want to use 2-3 pulldown as the final delivery format.

There's a 24p White Paper (specifically for the DVX100 and SDX900) here on the Sony site that discusses this in a lot more detail. I'm sure it will answer your questions.
