I thought that is was my laptop so i installed version vegas (32 bit) on my other computer and the same thing happen on that computer, what is going on. is anyone else having this issue? if so how did you fix it? looking at the leastest version (Vegas 32/64 D) release states this a known issue and we were told that this issue is fixed. what should i do to fix this issue??????

What do you mean it will not boot back up ? At what point does it fail? I have not heard complaints here from people with that problem (doesn't mean it does not exist, just that I had not seen any posts here about that issue). What version of windoze are you running and where does it fail in the boot process ??

And, while you are answering his questions, once you get it back up and running be sure to install Comodo Time Machine (Comodo's Website). It will save you from issues like this in the future as you will be able to restart your computer from a previous snapshot in seconds and be back up and running as if nothing ever happened. It is a free program by the way.

don't think i've ever read or heard of vegas ever doing anything as drastic as that.

where did you get your copy from? could be a corrupt download?

as jrazz says, get comodo / acronis / even use win 7's sys backup. but get backed up one way or another

Two weak batteries
Two full "c" drives
Using CD Rom to install DVD disc
Download contains virus or worm

Try booting in safe mode and see how much room is on "C" driive.
If partitiion is missing you put in Windows 7 wrong. (maybe) And if your battery is low and the labtop is plugged in you will roach out your "C" drive data. The "C" drive will make chugging intermittant noises if it is roached out. You will probably have to re-install Windows 7. Maybe replace hard drive and battery.
