2 gig limit?

I'm having trouble opening an avi. file that's just over 2 gigs. I get a read error message and the audio portion of the file doesn't open. 1.9 gigs opens no problem. Any ideas? TIA

maybe you are running FAT32 drives under 98SE/ME? You can have unlimited size files ONLY under Windows2000 or NT with NTFS-formatted drives.

VideoFactory 2 will have numerous workarounds for this...and VideoFactory 2 is scheduled for release in a few weeks!

I am running an 500 mhz AMD K6-2 w/ 128 mb ram with 98SE. I have no problem capturing 2 gig+ files with Virtualdub and working with them in Virtualdub but Videofactory doesn't seem to like the larger files.
