2 questions¡­¡­!!!

1) why i cannt preview dv avi format clips (taking from my DV) on the TV set? no red "frame recompressed" text. Any other format clips can be previewed correctly on the TV!

2) why i cannt print the clip on the DV tape? when it is on recording,there is black on the screen,and there are nothing but test pattern while playback?

Alex if you click the right mouse button and check the media properties what does its say on the second tab for media format?

Are you working in PAL.

This is your first post and I am guessing you are European.

The default template in Vegas is NTSC and your .avi will be in PAL format

This will not display on a PAL TV monitor unless you to PAL DV which is on the File -> Properties dialogue.

A common mistake - Am I wrong?

In everywhere -media properties or others I set PAL format.
