2 Questions: Vegasaur Plugin + Deep Glow Alternative

Hello there everyone, I have 2 questions for you.

1. I was just wondering let's say Vegas comes out with Vegas Pro 23 in the next year or so and I got the Vegasaur plugin. Will it automatically transfer to that one when I download it into it to use? I'm just making sure before I get it in a couple of weeks after the trail ends.

2. I've been trying to make a deep glow effect on Vegas Pro using the alternative effects sapphire, ignite, universe etc. Asked on Vegas Pro discords somewhat helped me. I was just wondering if anyone here had a possible good idea for a deep glow effect.

To your first question, I can confirm that Vegasaur is always automatically transferred to a new Vegasversion. I'm using Vegasaur several years and never had any issue using it in a newer version. The reason is that Vegasaur is actually a script collection and scripts work in every Vegas version.

AWESOME!! Gonna be using the beat tracker to track beats for short/tiktok edits! Thank you! I was really worried it wouldn't.

@A21-EDITS Hi, I was curious about your 'Deep Glow', so went online, I read some & watched some videos, most were AE, I had AE for a while so understood a fair bit of it but beyond 'Deep Glow generates a beautiful, physically accurate glow.'  I couldn't really work out what made Deep Glow different from others.

My Boris glow fxs have Intensity, Threshold, Range, Position, Blur. Radius, Desaturation, Falloff, Bias, Glow from Alpha, Glow under source... With these options many glow effects can be created,

What does Deep glow give that you couldn't create in the tests you mentioned?

Deep Glow is a popular After Effects plugin known for its physically accurate glow effects, which differentiate it from standard built-in glow effects. It achieves a more realistic and natural-looking glow by simulating inverse-square falloff, where the intensity of the glow decreases as it moves away from the source. Deep Glow also offers features like chromatic aberration and is GPU accelerated for faster rendering, according to Aescripts.

Here's a more detailed look at what makes Deep Glow different:

1. Physically Accurate Glow: Deep Glow simulates inverse-square falloff, meaning the glow's intensity diminishes as it spreads, mimicking how light behaves in the real world.

2. GPU Acceleration: Deep Glow leverages the GPU for processing, resulting in faster rendering times compared to CPU-only effects, according to Aescripts.

3. Chromatic Aberration: Deep Glow allows for chromatic aberration, a visual effect where colors slightly shift due to the way light refracts through a lens, adding another layer of realism.

4. Versatile Applications: Deep Glow can be used for various purposes, including simulating bloom, illuminating objects, and compositing CG elements, according to Aescripts.

5. Intuitive Compositing Controls: Deep Glow provides intuitive controls to help refine the glow's appearance, making it easier to achieve the desired look.

6. Non-Linear Color Space Support: Deep Glow works effectively in non-linear color spaces, which is important for certain types of content,
