2 video preview windows?

I was wondering if it were possible to have 2 video preview windows up at the same time. The reason is, I just hooked up a television to my computer as a 2nd monitor so that I could use it for color correction (since TV looks a lot different than a computer monitor).

I'd like to have one preview window showing on the TV, and the other on my monitor. Thanks!

Brogan - I don't think this can be done in Real Time (RT). I can have my Flat screen have the focus and Preview within Vegas in RT OR my external Monitor in RT. But I can't have both - well not what I've found out anyway. BUT, I can SCRUB the piece I want to see moving and "see" this so I do have method of kinda viewing both PC and ext mon. Now my question to you is - under what circumstances would you/I want to have both working in RT? Please tell me and tell me what I might be missing - it wont be the first time Brogan . .it wont be the last!

What I've described above is fab for CC and is exactly the reason I recently splurged out on a JVC monitor with over 750 lines . . The beauty of ALL this is that you can also FX a part of the screen and see the "Before" and "After" AT the same time .. for comparison too! Then you've got the scopes to get an idea where all this stuff is going in terms of the actual "spread" and what not!

Best regards,

Grazie

I guess I don't really NEED both previews in RT, but I thought it would be nice. I'm still used to having just the 1 monitor, and now that I have the TV it's kind of messed up my desktop environment. In a perfect world I'd have my computer monitor with the preview window in the bottom right like always and the TV would be showing my editing/color corrected results full screen in real time. Oh well, I suppose I can just get used to this setup. Thanks!

Remember that it only takes a single mouse-click to switch back and forth between the two.
