24/88.2 -> 16/44.1 or 24/96 -> 16/44.1 ?

Hi Peter,

In attempting to keep up with new technology, specifically
DVD-Audio, should we sample at 96KHz and hold onto those
recordings, for the day when DVD-Audio writing becomes
affordable ? Is the 'render' more difficult from 96 to
44.1, for today's CD-R writing ?

BTW, we all appreciate your presence in the forum !

Regards,
Rick Z

i've been saving 24/48 archives of my masters
before dropping them down to 16/44.1
if any of these recording get reissued in 5 years
i'm ready to send my master to the plant.
