Until SF 24 bit comes out.........what is everyone using to
edit 24-bit sound files with? I have a few projects that I
am working on in 24 bit...just NO WAY to edit! WSo, what's
everybody using?
We've been using Wavelab 2 for a couple of years just fine. We
puchased it for its Red Book CD capability at the time and the
engineers who've used it around here seem to always go back to it in
a pressure situation.
Caveat: While Vegas Pro wouldn't necessarily open WaveLab as default
editor, I don't know if that has been fixed under VV (something to do
with passing command line parameters to WaveLab) ... but it was just
as easy, and probably safer, to go to the directory, make a copy of
the wave file and open the copy with WaveLab for processing.
... FWIW
KAC ...
