24fps question BabaG wrote on 4/27/2005, 1:39 PM is there a true 24fps delivery medium for digital projection? or is 24fps material always folded into a 30fps file and flagged for pulldown removal? thanks, BabaG Back to post

The DVD player can send the raw 24fps data out to a projector that understands 24fps, or optionally the DVD player can add pulldown if it detects that it's supposed to output NTSC. BabaG wrote on 4/27/2005, 2:47 PM so i could essentially make a 1:1 copy of a film, at least as far as frame rate goes? xjerx wrote on 4/27/2005, 3:18 PM So, would using the 23.97 setting in DVDA2 would give you a true 24p DVD? 1
