24P DVD

Is anybody doing 24P with DVD-A?
I have been testing using DVfilmaker
but I cannot get a .mov file rendered
like they want. What about direct
render to .mpg. I heard somewhere
that Vegas supports 24P out to .mpg?

Can't see any NTSC or PAL framesizes for 24P or 23.97P in DVD-A!
I think Vegas might be ok for even 720p ATSC (NTSC frame rates) work......

I'd like to see profiles 24P in D1 in NTSC (and PAL) for DVD-A.
It isn't too hard to use a third party app to remove SD matching frame repetition/pulldown and get 24p through firewire (or SDI) from <US$3000 cameras. The extra professionalism of a 24P DVD (and the space saved) is very valuable and good market foresight. IMHO.

It would be marvellous to hear that doing a Music Compilation in DVD-A will allow previously encoded 24P MPEG to go out as-is (with lip sync to a 24P sensitive AC3 mux [does VV3 encoded audio AC3 have sync with frames or against true time?]).
