Can anyone please verify if I have this right before I get too deep.. Shot a project on advanced 24P (2-3-3-2 pulldown) 16:9 on DVX100's. Box checked for pulldown removal, project settings set to 24P NTSC DV widescreen. Initial editing will only consist of matching up the camera shots (3 cameras). NOW, the next step is to match up film transfers to cut in, shot 24fps with standard pulldown. Whichever clip I bring into the timeline second seems to get rendered into the timeline. The final output will be DVD
So should I
A. Sync my 24P shots at 23.97 pulldown removed, render unaltered to avi NTSC DV Widescreen with standard 3-2 pulldown. then bring rendered avi back into timeline as NTSC 29.97, do my color correction ect, then bring my film transfers into that timeline, render project to MPEG-2.
B. Sync my 24P shots at 23.97 pulldown removed, do NOT render yet, bring film transfers into that same timeline to sync up. do all my editing and correcting, render project as 3-2 MPEG-2.
So should I
