I've searched for this in the Vegas forum, but all answers were related to HD. I'm not that swanky yet.
I rendered a movie of my kids gymnastics class (lots of action/movement) and decided to go with the 24p widescreen setting for that film look. The footage was shot on minidv with the 16:9 setting. The finished product looks cool, just like film, even on my standard TV. But there are some interlace flickers when the kids jump or run. Does this have to do with the standard TV? Or could it be in the rendering?
