I've read every thread on this issue, and I still don't feel like I have a definitive answer. I have trial versions of Vegas Movie Studio 10 and DVDA 5.0. I've encoded video clips to MPEG-2, DVD Architect 24p NTSC widescreen with 3-2 pulldown. DVDA wants to re-compress them, apparently because the frame rate of the clips is not 29.97. That makes sense; yet some people claim that DVDA has a frame rate option of 23.967. So, once and for all (?) DOES DVDA HAVE A SETTING FOR 23.967 OR DOESN'T IT? If yes, where the !@#$% is it?
Just to complicate matters: while I was clicking randomly through the settings for Project Properties in DVDA, I swear I saw a 23.967 option. It lasted about two seconds, and I haven't been able to find it again. Wishful thinking?
