24p workflow question

I know Spot did an excellent tutorial on this, and it has been discussed in depth in a number threads. But I kind of came across this info after the fact, and hope to avoid rerendering, as I'm on a tight deadline.

Anyway, my question...
I rendered my 60i project with a 2332 pulldown, and then brought that into DVDA and rendered to DVD. I think the footage looks fine, but according to tutorials and other threads, it appears I missed a step of rerendering the 2332 to the mpeg DVDA 24p template before bringing it into DVDA, then to DVD.

Again, the end result looks pretty good, I think, but I would like to know if by going straight from the 2332 render to DVDA, if I'm sacrificing quality or anything.

Thanks.

People with a lot more knowledge than me are around here, but when I render to 24p with Vegas, I don't re-render. You only have to render once. I just choose the DVDA 24p template and render away. It would be my guess that if you rendered to mpg using options within Vegas using the 24p option with 2332 pulldown, you probably got close to what the settings would be in the template anyways. The only "quality sacrifice" might be that your settings choices might not be the same quality as the Vegas template.
