All of the footage for a project I'm working on was shot on the DVX100A but the two shooters (in different markets) got their wires crossed so about half of the footage is 29.97 and the other is 23.976. My final output is a WMV 1MB 640x480 file. Would it be correct to make the project 29.97 and turn off pull-down in preferences so Vegas sees the 23.976 as 29.97? The 23.976 footage seems to look a little better that way when rendering than when keeping pull-down on but I'm not sure if I'm going about this the right way. The pull-down setting in preferences would only need to be on if I were editing in 24p mode, right?
