299, 399, 499 which price is right

I´m a a registred VV3 owner and want to upgrade to VV4 + DVDA.
SoFos download site offers me an upgradeprice of 399.
In this (very good) forum I´ve seen e-mail offers from So Fo to registred forum members of 499 !!!??
But some of you are even talking of an 299 offer!!!
My question is: If I enter my ser number on the download-site will I then get the 299 offer or is there another way?
Any information Would be appreciated as I intend to download soon.

I'm also a registered owner of vv3. I've seen messages of v4 pricing at $149. I'm interested in that. Although, I haven't seen it. The email I received from SOFO was for $299 for v4 and $399 for v4+dvd. I went to their upgrade page and it was $199 for v4.

I'd like to buy the boxed version. So I'm not sure how much that cost, I hope I could buy a boxed version for $149, if not, I'll buy it for $199 (is this boxed?).

I'm confused.

I think you have to take care a bit.
There are
full versions and upgrades
boxed versions and download versions
Vegas 4.0 only and Vegas+DVD (incl. DVD-Architect)
All this variations have different prices.
I bought an upgrade from VV3 to Vegas+DVD as download and this was 299,-

Perhaps I would explain better I meen upgrade download version from VV3 to VV4+DVDArchitect
As I understand is the download upgrade VV3 to VV4 a standalone full version and there´s no need to have VV3 on your Pc when installing VV4 as long you have your VV3 ser nr when buying.
But where on the download-site did you see 299 for VV4 + DVDA or did you get that price AFTER ENTERING your ser number - haven´t tried that yet.

If you are a registered user of vegas 3.0 you should get an email from Sofo. If your email address has changed email their customer support and tell them your new address, or you can call them directly and confirm your serial number. Here is the pricing from their PR:

If you just bought 3 you might be in line for an even greater discount from SOFO; look before you leap, i.e., CALL THEM...also, yes, if you're a student or educator or administrator, academicsuperstore has vv4 for 149...there is no better deal if you qualify, and that goes for ALL SOFO prods hello/amen...
