2g no NTSC DV template option

I recently installed the 2.0g update. Went to render a project today (my first using this update) and discovered that my template for rendering DV is not there, nor does the NTSC DV option appear under the drop down where I would normally select the video format.

I don't ever recall having any difficulty in selecting this (normally have VV set to open all new projects in this format). I see Windows avi, but no NTSC DV, so, what am I doing wrong?

Ah, well, never mind. I found it. When I click the custom button, the tabs at the bottom of the resulting screen are always off the bottom of my screen. To see them, I have to drag the active window up a bit, then click the video tab, and the template selection box at the top of the following screen includes the NTSC DV template.

I went through this when I first started using Vegas. Kept comparing my screen to the instructions in the manual and couldn't see what the book was talking about. You'd think I'd learn (of course, I haven't had to make any changes using the Custom button for so long that I was no longer familiar with it.

Any suggestions (short of screen resolution settings) to make that dialog window default to a more central location on my screen?

Try deleting "aviplug.dll" from the "Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\File Formats" folder, then do a repair installation of Vegas 2.0g (all that will change is the correct plug-in will be re-added).

Hmm, a repair installation. Will there be a dialogue along the way which will allow me to select 'repair' as the installation type?

I should also note that the 'window'in question (the one with the video/audio tabs at the bottom, has fallen low on my screen, not only with version g, but with all previous versions, including the install straight from the packaged disk.

It's not really a problem as long as I remember. Just figured that this dialog box is supposed to fall more centrally onto my screen.
