3 gigs of ddr3 or ddr2?

Which would be faster for vegas. 3 gs of ddr3 or 6 gs of ddr2. I have been trying to figure this out and have not found a solid answer.

most likely it wouldn't make a difference. Cheaper = more though, so buy more of the cheaper one.

They are giving away DDR2 800 memory now---4 gigs for $35.00. DDR3 will cost you an arm and a leg.

You can even get the 1066 for $39 after MIR from ZipZoomFly. THe prices are realy down. Happy Christmas....
