Sony Movie Studio 9 was released some 16 years ago and should - like Vegas Pro versions of the era - have probably come with both 32 bit and 64 bit versions and probably what you downloaded from Sony at the time of purchase some 16 years ago would likely have included both 32 bit and 64 bit installers.

Sony Movie Studio 9 has not been available for sale from Sony (or MAGIX) since Sony Movie Studio 10 was released some 15 years ago. Assuming that you purchased Sony Movie Studio 9 recently (a private sale?), you will need to contact the vendor about the 32 bit issue and the possibility of a refund.
