32bit effects with 64bit pro9?

An acquaintance is offering me a few effects packages(magic bullet looks, newblue, etc) that he used on pro8. Is there a way to get pro9 64bit to see these or would I have to install the 32bit version?
BTW, he moved to media composer; I watched him edit on it today and I wasn't all that impressed with it.

os doesn't matter - but 32bit plugins only work in 32bit vegas....

Magic Bullet is 32-bit only. If the NewBlue packages are the full retail versions, the current installer will let you choose either 32-bit, 64-bit (or BOTH) and the serial number works for both versions. Hard to say for "etc..." without knowing what they actually are.
