32bit render problem

I'm having a problem with quality on crossfades when rendering 32bit (video levels) while using the Sony Color Corrector . I'm apply basic correction to the gamma, saturation and mid color. I get strange pixelization problems and I've attached a link to png sample of 8bit vs 32bit (look at the boy's shirt). If I remove the CC effect and render 32bit everything looks fine and if I render 8 bit with effect everything looks fine.

Notes: I have GPU processing set to OFF and video levels are all within legal range. Also the clip being crossfaded is a png still image to a MXF video clip.

Oh my, this topic is covered exhaustingly about every three weeks in this forum. It comes under the heading - BE CAREFUL about deploying 32bit options in project workflows - UNLESS you know what outcome you really desire.
Otherwise - go back 8 bit.

The reason I need to use 32bit is that I have a lot of animated gradients in this project and the difference in banding between 8bit and 32bit is dramatic. Since there does not seem to be a fix for this I will apply my color correction in photoshop. I also filed a ticket. Thanks.

UPDATE - I also had some effects on the track level and when I removed them the pixelization went away and 32bit mode worked.
