Not too long ago I was wondering if SCS was going to offer a price break on SVP 13 Suite..
With the email I recieved offering SVP 13 +, it seems my prayers have been answered.
I'm not sure if the extra plugins on top of what the version 13 Suite is going to make that much difference in my work flow but it seems like this may be a very kind offering.
With HitFim 3 Ultimate in the bundle, I might be inclined to learn how to use that as well.
Any comments on this latest offering?

With Sony's passed release cycle of Vegas Pro in mind, I'd be expecting to see a v14 release in the near future. I'd hold off unless v13 came with a special upgrade offer to v14 when it comes out.

@Gary James
That never crossed my mind.

Windows 10 won't delay Vegas at all. They'll release and (as previously) when a patch comes out it will be tested for the new OS.

I like the bundle but don't have the $$ to upgrade. I would if I did though. Not necessarily for VEgas, but all the non-Vegas stuff included! :)

Sony's past record has been anywhere between 12 - 18 months between Vegas releases. At the very earliest I wouldn't expect to see Vegas Pro 14 until April 2015. But it is probably just as likely we won't see it until July or October of 2015.

It was just about 12 months between v11 and v12. Both came out in October.

If we go with 12 months then v14 would be released in April 2015. However, if it is 17 months like the time between v12 and v13 then it could be October 2015.

It probably depends on what ideas they have been able to implement and how industrious they've been feeling.

I honestly don't know what else I want to expect from a NLE at this point in my skill level.. I do want to try and stay ahead of the game. I still feel that organic creation should prevail on all my work, and that the software's role is to assemble an accepted finished media.
But as I mentioned before, the more I work with this software, the more I find out about it's true power.
