360 video render mp4 does not open

I have shot 360 video on a GoPro Max 360. I CAN bring it into Vegas Pro 19 with no problem, do editing, etc. in 360 mode. However, when I render, even in 360 mode, I only get one choice for the render codec, and it creates and MP4 file that will not open using any video player, even VLC.

I can open the source in Windows default video player, but I cannot open the Vegas Pro output MP4.

In my experience, rendering with the 360 Output box checked in project properties will yield a black or green video---I forget how my various video players react to that, though.

Unchecking the 360 output box and making sure you aren't filtering render settings may reveal other render templates.

Please share your project and render settings and a mediainfo report for the video created by Vegas.

FWIW: I recently rendered a 360 at greater than 4K resolution using one of the Magix AVC/AAC MP4 templates and it crashed my viewers. I tried again using a Magix HEVC/AAC MP4 templates and it was fine.
