3D 180° setting not working

DiDequ wrote on 11/28/2013, 8:07 AM
Hello.

When using a 3D clip or movie, filmed upside down with a homemade stabilizer, I cannot get 3D.
I tried with the project properties -> Rotation -> 180°
Render the file -> DvDA display a 3D icon (there are an Avc and a Mvc file rendered by Vegas Pro.
But the picture is flat when watching the iso with DvdFAb virtualDrive and Power Dvd.

Same project without any rotation, 3D is ok with PowerDvd... but of course, image is upside down.

The other method :
right clic -> properties on a 3D sequence -> Media tab -> Rotation > 180°
No 3D when previewing (I do get the 3D result on screen without rotation, but pictures are upside down.)

If anyone has had this problem and found a solution.

Meanwhile, I am thinking of another homemade stabilizer that do not rotate my camera.

Add Stereoscopic 3D adjust FX, and here you can set
"flip vertical" to both.

Your solution works perfectly.
Many thanks.

Problem : left is on right side and vice versa.
I cannot keep this setting, even if 3D is OK.

Need also to flip vertical to both.
But then 3D is reversed too (front objects are far away while far objects are very close to you), and it gives you a headache.

So it's not a good solution.

I found how to :
"flip vertical" to both.
"flip horizontal" to both.
Right clic on the clip -> properties -> flip left right images.
Thanks again relaxvideo, you made me save time.

Interesting rig.

I thought maybe the wheels were for use on an overhead track, LOL.

Do you have any 3D videos posted? I visited your YouTube channel but couldn't see any (may be a chrome issue)?
