Wow!
I have been searching & searching to find a 3D app on par with Vegas's remarkablely EASY and intuitive interface -yet still robust enough to give you full creativity....
www.sketchup.com
Well.. its no maya/lightwave when it comes to realism. (its kinda of cartoon-ey)... but its SO easy to use!!! great thing is you can easily create what you have in mind in sketch-up, then export it out to your favorite 3D app to add fancy textures, lighting ect....
BE SURE to watch the quick demo/tutorial they have on there website!!!
Its all gravey after that..
PLUS you get a fullly functional demo (time limited) to play with!
Highly recommend trying it
BTW - I searched a bit, recall someone providing directions on this before.. if any one could please post (or point me) somewhere which explains the BEST
way to render in a 3D app (like Bryce) then import into Vegas.
By this, i mean what frame rate should i use in 3D app?
Its progressive video - so whats the best way to mix that in with a standard NTSC DV avis?
Thanks!
