3d layer

ok, i made a 3d layer, adjusted a text screen so that it sits on an angle and now want to put it into motion----------the problem is, when i adjust the horizontal positioning, i cant move the text to the furthest point in the distant screen. Rather, because of how the crop window works, the texts disapears if i push to far to the left or right. is there a way to avoid this and make the text move from the furthest possible point in the distance to the closest possible point on the screen?
thank you

Change the setting to 3D source alpha (top left of the track motion window) instead of source alpha and see if that does it for you.

no, i already did that.
its hard to describe what i'm asking.
basically, when my image is rotated to sit on a 3d angle, it takes the shape and size of the initial 2d screen, so when i want to push the whole screen further into the distance, there is a cut off point, where the image just disapears, because of its border.
thanks

If you are using generated media, can you post a veg. If not, can you render out that section to a small wmv file and post it so we can see what it is that it is doing and what it is that you are wanting?

dvideo, I think what you're seeing is that the boundary of the frame has now changed to be smaller, since it's tilted. Therefore, the left or right edge of the boundary is cutting off your text before it leaves the screen, yes? If so, you need to enlarge the 3D TM frame space, so it fills the screen, and then re-adjust the size of your title to suit that need. Hopefully I'm understanding your problem correctly?
As far as posting a "video file" I'd recommend you post the .VEG, not a video. Folks can download it from your site or hosting site, and play with it, and offer feedback or fix it. You need your own site to host it though.

If you have a website you can post it there and give us a link to it. If you don't, do a search on this forum for video hosting or free video hosting as there have been previous discussions about hosting video. Make sure it is a small file.

yes dse,
i think you know what i'm asking--------how do you recomend adjusting this setting---------the problem with this might be, now i'm zooming in on the text by making the screen bigger, in which case the image might become less crisp, no?-----please give me the steps needed to be taken----------thanks again.
