3D problem

I have movie studio platinum 12 and I am trying to make a 3D video. I can get the video to look like 3D when I am watching it in the preview screen but when I start to render it , it looks normal ( no 3D effect. ) So I stopped rendering and watched it in the preview screen and it looks like 3D. I start rendering again and the same thing happens no 3D effect.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Markk655, after messing around with it for a while I found out that while it is rendering is shows in the preview window normal (without 3D effect) but when it is done rendering and I watch the video it is in 3D.
